Day 2, 30 Day Challenge

Day 2: Either create a piece of art in response to your favorite poem or write a poem in response to your favorite piece of art.(hover on picture!) Lightning….Lightning streaks through the sky at night, Chasing shadows going left and right.Clearing the way for more to come,Dancing in the darkness, not to be outdone. The wind howls and provides its song, For the lightning to dance all night long. With crescendos of sounds; crashing and banging,Any loose thing can add sounds clanging. The clouds hide the stars and moon,The sound of thunder, echo the doom.Of the power within the streaks of might,So beautiful God’s writing …

Day 1, 30 Day Challenge

What did you enjoy most / least about today’s challenge? The least enjoyable thing about today’s challenge was trying to figure out how to photograph my interpretation of God’s love for me. Another Afternoon with WVFD

On the way home my pager went off for a small outside fire, that was in between work and home.  So I headed that way to see if I can offer any assistance.  The fire was confined to an area about 200’x100′, and about 600 gallons of water was used.  The only loss of property was an small, unused well pump house.  It appears the fire was started from the remnants of a burn barrel used the previous day.
